A New Rotor-Side Control Method for Low Voltage Across of Double-Fed Induction Wind Power Systems

  • A mathematical model of double-fed induction wind power system with the stator field current variation is established, and the response property under the circumstance of voltage fall and normal state is analyzed. A control scheme to solve the problem of low voltage fall across is proposed. Firstly, a compensation item (the stator flux linkage current differential item) is added into the control scheme of stator flux oriented in rotor-side changer. On this basis, cascade resistors are connected at rotor side of the generator. The simulation result shows that this method can restrain overvoltage and overcurrent of stator-side and rotor-side obviously when the grid voltage drops.
