Application of a New Membership Function to Nonlinear Fuzzy PID Controllers with Variable Gains

Abstract
To study the relationship between fuzzy control and variable gain control,a method of nonlinear fuzzy PID(proportion,integration,differentiation) control is proposed.The method's membership function has a wide adjustable range and is universal.The application of this function to the fuzzy control increases controller adjustability.The continuity of the function to also proved.This method is applied in simulation and semi-physical experiments to prove its feasibility.
