Abstract:
For the permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), we propose the direct torque control (DTC) strategy based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) driven by matrix converter (MC). In this system, the MC replaces the conventional AC-DC-AC converter in order to increase the power factor (PF) of the system input side. Moreover, the ADRC is used as a substitute for the traditional PI speed regulator to enhance the robustness of the system. First, we build the mathematical model of the PMSM driven by the MC, and provide the ADRC-based speed regulator and the DTC designing ideal and method based on PMSM driven by MC. The DTC strategy based on ADRC helps the PMSM system driven by MC to operate in a more stable manner and possesses good control effect of the speed and torque; moreover, the PF of the system input side can reach 1. Then, compared with the PI-based DTC strategy, the proposed strategy possesses stronger robustness and better command-following characteristics underload torque and reference speedvariations. Finally, the simulation results are provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
