  • In the era of smart manufacturing based on ubiquitous information, the proliferation of information technology meet the technical demands of the market for manufacturing transformation with the unprecedented capacity, which impacts and promotes manufacturing industry from the traditional mode to the unprecedented new mode gradually. This new information environment and mode make up the smart manufacturing space that affects the development of intelligent manufacturing. We expound the big changes that are taking place in the aspects of manufacturing systems organization, production design and manufacturing technology, and human-machine relationship. Smart manufacturing space will form quickly with the characteristic of centralized-decentralized hybrid of manufacturing systems, design and manufacturing methods of virtual-actual mixing and mode of production based human-machine fusion, and will reshape the new paradigm and technology system for manufacturing industry under demand promoting and technology-driven will be remodeled.
