Abstract
Aiming at solving the problem of information missing in ramp waiting time description, a novel concept ofredundancy waiting time is proposed and its model is analyzed combining queuing theory. On the basis, a function formulti-objective ramp coordinated control is presented, and a method for solving ramp control law based on the support vectormachine with radial basis kernel function is designed. The simulation based on in-situ data of tra c flow from freewayconnecting link turn to expressway in high-density period is performed. The experiment results show that comparing withother control methods, the proposed model and the algorithm are better in describing the state of the ramps and in reducingredundancy waiting time.
