COMPUTATIONAL VISION AND REGULARIZATION APPROACH

The computational vision,concentrating on the theoretical research of visual information processing,is the mainstcam of vision research in the world.Not only does it offer us with the possibility of thorough understanding the biological intelligence,it also sets the fundamental for developing the system of automatical image analysis in the field of artificial intelligence.In the paper we give a brief description of the computational vision proposed by Marr and the visual regularization theory by Poggio.Our aim is to demonstrate that the computational method is a natural way of studying the information processing of human and machine visions.
