KNOWLEDGE-BASED HOLONIC INTELLIGENT CONTROL INMACHINING PROCESS

  • Machining process is a complicated, multivariant and dynamic system and an effective control of the process is one of the most essential requirements for the manufacturing system automation. In this paper, the creation and characteristics of holonic control and the development of intelligent control of machining process are summarized, and the characteristics and development tendency of the intelligent monitoring system of machining process are analyzed. It is pointed out that more progress of intelligent control technology and holonic control theory will establish a sound foundation for making intelligent control of machining process evolve to higher intelligence.
