An Enhanced Security Multipath Routing Algorithm in Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

This paper proposes an enhanced security multipath routing algorithm to improve data security in wireless ad hoc networks.In the proposed algorithm,the destination node sends checking packets to dynamically maintain the valid multipath routing information,and the source node adaptively updates the current optimal routes according to the received checking packets.This algorithm builds up multiple available paths for the optimal routing scheme during routing discovery and routing maintenance,subsequently improves data security and transmission performance in wireless ad hoc networks.Simulation results show that our algorithm provides a reasonably good level of data transmission security.
