A Floating Threshold Method Used in Film Information Processing

This paper presents methods of video signal floating threshold processing, relevantfloating amplifer design, and image boundary ambiguity elimination in the binary-state processing.An example of automatic measurement of ringed band on film is given that explains how to dealwith density change of background and ringed band body,and how to eliminate image boundary ambiguity by means of these methods.
