Abstract
This paper analyzes the topology of mobile ad hoc network(MANET)and constructs a routing model for MANET.Combining the basic principle of genetic algorithm with the routing model of MANET,we propose an algorithm to solve the wireless network routing optimization problem.The presented algorithm adopts variable-length chromosomes to encode the problem and applies genetic algorithms to optimize the route.With this algorithm,the optimal route can be found with minimal system consumption.
