Analysis and Modeling of a Class of Networked Cascade Control System

The concept of networked cascade control system(NCCS) is presented and a class of NCCSs based on fieldbus is studied.When the network-induced delay is less than and more than one sampling period,the augmented state vector method is used respectively to model the system as a finite-dimensional discrete-time LTI(linear time-invariant) system.Finally,a cascade control example in industrial process control is analyzed to show the effectiveness of the presented modeling method.
