APPROXIMATION THEORY OF FUZZY SYSTEMS: CURRENT STATE AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS

  • In recent years, fuzzy systems have been proved to be universal function approximators, which means they can realize any nonlinear continuous control laws and dynamic models. We review and analyze the results on the approximation theory of fuzzy systems up to date. We also point out some directions for further research in this area.
