EDGE DETECTION METHOD BASED ON WAVELET AND MOMENT AND ITS APPLICATION IN FAULT MONITORING

Abstract
To assure the power system running steadily, it is very important to dynamically monitor the porcelain bottles of the main transformer. Based on the edge features of porcelain bottle image, which is captured through wavelet and moment, we present a real-time monitoring scheme for the power system by comparing the dynamic edges with standard ones. Simulation results show that the method presented is feasible and effective.
