Control System Design Method Based on IEC61499 and Design Pattern

  • Traditional design methodologies of industrial process measurement and control system (IPMCS) do not meet the needs of todays unpredictable and ever-changing global market, so a new method based on IEC61499 and design pattern is proposed in this paper.Particularly, a function-block based model-view-control design pattern is constructed, and with the proposed design pattern, a prototype of drilling measurement and control system is designed. Design procedure of the prototype system indicates the flexibility, extensibility, reusability and interoperability of the new design method.
