Optimal Research on Balancing and Sequencing of Mixed Model Assembly Lines

The relationship between balancing and sequencing of the mixed model assembly lines is discussed and the latest development of it is given.This paper presents the category,objective functions and algorithms of the balancing problem.The model of sequencing problem is built,and three objective functions and their algorithms are analyzed.At last,problems that need further research and the possible research directions are pointed out.
