Dependability in the ADC Model with Preventive Maintenance under General Probability Distribution

For overcoming the limitation of the Markov assumptions,the lifetime,corrective maintenance time and preven-tive maintenance time are all assumed to be with general distribution.Using the numerical advantage of discrete-time model,the transition of the system states is established,including the operational state,corrective maintenance state and preventive maintenance state.Considering preventive maintenance,the dependability D of the ADC model with general distribution is built.Numerical examples illustrate that this evaluation method is useful for choosing appropriate preventive repair cycle to improve system performance.
