A CODING AND DECODING METHOD FOR INDUSTRIAL WIRELESSNETWORKS IN SERVICES WITH DEADLINE ANDRELIABILITY GUARANTEES

  • To satisfy the requirements for stringent timing constraints and reliability guarantees in industrial wireless networks, this paper proposes a new coding and decoding method. This method hybridizes automatic repeat request theme and forward error correction theme. RS codes are used in this system due to their very good error correction. A voting theme is introduced in order to increase the probability of successful decoding. Deadlines dependent redundant coding can efficiently improve the probability of delivering information before a given deadline in industrial bad conditions.
