A MULTI-PHASE FUZZY CONTROL METHOD USED FOR SINGLE INTERSECTION

  • This paper designs a new traffic controller for a single intersection based on the manned decision proccess exerted on the multi phase signal traffic control.The length of the queue on the contiguous phase lanes is used to determine the timing plan.Simulations and applications show that the new fuzzy control method is more near to the manned decision proccess and can perform the multi-phase signal traffic control of a single intersection more effectively.
