MODELING AND SIMULATION OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM USING PETRI NET & COM

  • In this paper,Hierarchical and Colored Petri Net is used to model physical distribution system of manufacturing enterprise and a method based on COM Technology is proposed to simulate the HCPN model,which not only provides modular and hierarchical conceptions to design general simulation distinctly,but also strengthens the flexibility and extensibility of the simulation system.We also demonstrate how to realize the simulation system by using Petri net & COM for a steel making and continuous casting system.The proposed method can also to be applied in FMS and other DEDS.
