Smart Transducer Interface Circuit Based on IEEE1451 Standard

  • This paper presents the hardware and software implementation of the smart transducer interface based on the IEEE1451 standard,because traditional transducer can only apply to some specific networks.The traditional transducer model is divided into two parts: smart transducer interface module(STIM) and network capable application processor(NACP).The STIM holding an 8051-singlechip can implement signal conditioning,conversion,linearization and basic communication with NCAP.The NCAP uses an ARM processor to control STIM and process data from STIM.NCAP can also communicate with variable industrial networks.
