ADAPTIVE PREDICTIVE FUNCTION CONTROL USING ARMAX MODELS

  • An adaptive predictive function control strategy using ARMAX models has been developed. The characteristic features of this strategy are the small computer memory requirement, high computational speed, robust. The parameters of ARMAX model are identified by the recursive least square method with exponential forgetting. The simulation results show that the control strategy is more effective than PID control.
