Dynamic Self-adjusting Interpolation Algorithm for Micro-line Segments

  • Aiming at the problem of CNC(computer numerical control) vibration and low machining accuracy induced by using micro-line segments to fit complex surface,a new method is proposed for dealing with continuous micro-line segments based on linear acceleration and deceleration planning,which can auto-adjust the corner velocity according to the required machining accuracy,corner angle between adjacent micro-line segments and the maximum acceleration of axes.The result of experiments on LT-CNC demonstrates that the proposed algorithm can improve the machining speed of the program consisting of micro-line segments while ensuring machining accuracy.
