CT Image Reconstruction Algorithm from Fan Beam Scans

This paper presents an algorithm of image reconstruction from fan beam scans in X-ray computed tomography. Relevant equation derivations, computer simulation results and computerized realization scheme are also given. Computer simulation demonstrates that this algorithm has the following advantages: 1) Ensured high image quality 2) Great calculation alleviation and three fold increase of image reconstruction efficiency 3) Feasible implementation of devoted computer concerned.
