Systolic Array and Its Application to Pattern Recognition and Image Processing

In this paper,a quite popular Systolic principle is introduced in VLSI applications.Systolic algorithm and Systolic architecture are summarized here.And some algorithms implemented by Systolic array in pattern recognition and image processing are specified.Finally some design methods of Systolic array are presented.A wider range of applications of VLSI is quite beneficial and necessary in our country.
