ZDTS Method for Homogeneous Region Derivation of Satellite pictures

This paper describes the ZDTS method and the relevant developed software used for homogeneous region derivation of satellite pictures.The method has been applied in derivation of satellite pictures of Eastern Dong Ting Lake,and the results are reported.Two new techniques are developed for the ZDTS method,i.e.,the optimum threshold selection of o-th cumulative moment and the search strategy of non-homogeneous region edges for the ZDTS method.The derivation of homogeneous region is accelerated and the accuracy improved.
