MULTI GRANULARITY AND/OR MULTI-SEMANTIC LINGUISTIC INFORMATION PROCESSING IN FUZZY QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT

  • The use of fuzzy set theory has given good results for modeling qualitative, subjective and imprecise information, so it can be used in quality function deployment (QFD) to process corresponding information, which is called fuzzy quality function deployment (FQFD). Usually, linguistic term sets with same granularity and semantics are used in FQFD. In this paper, the problem of multi-granularity and/or multi-semantic linguistic information in FQFD is presented, and solution of the problem is discussed.
