STATISTICAL-REGRESSION-BASED QUALITY INFERENCE METHODS

Statistical regression methods are very important in soft sensor techniques. This paper reviewed statistical regression methods and establishes soft sensor model of moisture for high-ratied paper making processes using partial least square (PLS) method. Considering the disturbance approximation essence of moisture soft-sensor, we proposed a soft sensor modeling approach based on disturbance estimation. A moisture soft sensor model proves the validity of this approach.
