Transmission Scheme Based on P2P for the Time-shifted TV

A time-shifted television transmission strategy based on P2P technology,which focuses on the newly emerging time-shifted television service is proposed.Combining patching algorithm in video on demand(VOD) service with P2P technology saves resources of video server and backbone network,while no constraint is applied on the scale of service.Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show the strategy can effectively reduce the pressure of video server.
