Temperature Optimal Control of Electrical Heating Furnace

In this paper,a first-order linear pure-lagging and time-varing model is presented as the mathematical model of an electrical heating furnace.Based on the model the optimal control of furnace temperature with a quadratic performance index is discussed.An algorithm for the realization of the optimal control by the computer and a experimental structure are presented.
