Simulation Technique in System Dynamics and Its Application to Regional Planning

Simulation technique in system dynamics is a powerful tool for investigating non-engineering systems,such as society,economy,management and ecosystemsetc.It has been used extensively for the analysis of industry management(Industrial Dynamics),urban planning(Urban Dynamics)and world development(World Dynamics).This paper presents a system dynamics simulation model for the regional demographic-economic planning and introduces its application to the development planning of a representative region in China.
