Multivariable Control System Design for a Large-Sized Reboiler Oil Furnace

For multivariable process with time delays the inverse Nyquist array technique and a multivariable Smith predictor control scheme are used.Simulation results show that the interactions within the designed system are reduced efficiently,and a better dynamic performance is achieved due to the Smith predictor,and the system is robust to some extent for process/model mismatch,The designed system had been realized by us.
