Abstract

In this paper,we present a continued fraction extrapolation algorithm for stiffsystem simulations,and also discuss the stability of the algorithm.It is concluded thatthe algorithm is A-stable within three extrapolating orders.Finally,the paper gives amethod for dealing with discontinuity problems.
