Abstract

Being an important class of discrete event dynamic systems,Flexible Manufacturing Systems(FMS)arouse broad attention.This paper studies the dynamic behavior of the FMS described by Cohen's model,with emphasis on the relation between the processing time matrix and the efficiency of the dynamic system.A large class of systems with same efficiency can be found using the method presented in this paper,which is of significance to system optimization.An example is given to further illustrate our results.
