Abstract

APIDC or adaptive PID control is a very alive control theory and technology developed in the 1980's, and is also one of the important parts of adaptive control theory.This paper overviews systematically the developments,formation,principles,and applications of APIDC,points out its main branches,and especially introduces some typical algorithms of it with some comments.Finally,th directions of development and research work on APIDC are deliberated.
