AN APPROACH TO OPTIMAL MEASUREMENTS IN MODEL BASED DIAGNOSIS

This paper studies the selection problem of measuring points in model-based diagnosis. First, we analyze the causes of low efficiency in model-based diagnosis, and then,four diagnosis methods to optimal selecting measuring points are developed which avoid inefficient testing in diagnosis process to increase diagnosis efficiency. The diagnosis result of a typical diagnosis system shows that the number of measuring points can reduce to two-thirds or half of original one.
