SELECTING CROSSOVER SITE WITH UNEQUAL PROBABILITY IN GENETIC ALGORITHMS

  • Based on binary code,we study disadvantageous effect of selecting crossover site with equal probability,which is generally used in applications of genetic algorithms. Based on result of the analysis,a new crossover operator is proposed, whose crossover site being selected with unequal probability.The genetic algorithms with this new crossover operator have better convergence properties.
