Abstract

The principle and test results of wavealert method are presented in this paper.It is a method of leak diagnosis based on negative wave propagation with correlation analysis.It only requires pressure signals acquired from inlet and outlet of pipeline,and is capable of rejecting the effect of load disturbances on leak detection,so that is of great value to practice.
