AN EXPERT CONTROLLER—DESIGN PRINCIPLES AND COMPARATINE STUDY

In this paper,the problem reduction technique from among the artificial intelligent principles has been originally applied to designing expert controller.The comparative study with fuzzy controller and PI regulator showsthat the expert controller is feasible and has its performances much more superior to both the fuzzy controller andthe PI regulator.The control reduction AND/OR graph established by the paper,essentially,gives an example offormal approach to designing expert controller.
