APPLICATION OF WAVELET NETWORKS ON CONTROL SYSTEM

Wavelet analysis is a novel mathematical theory and method developed in 1980s. Wavelet network is a kind of feedforward network based on the breakthrough of wavelet analysis research. In this paper, the structure and the training algorithm of wavelet network, and the main application on control systems are overviewed. Wavelet network is compared with the general feedforward neural network. Finally, the prospect of control system using wavelet network is proposed.
