DECOUPLING DESIGN OF NON—SQUARE MULTIVARIABLE SYSTEM AND DETERMINATION OF F_a (S)MATRIX

In this paper,decoupling design of non-square multivariable system using inverse Nyquist array(INA)method is discussed.The two-stage design method which includes‘squaring—down' and‘diagonalisation'isdescribed and its CAD algorithm is developed.Also,the author proposes a triangle matrix method bywhich the F_a(s)-feedback matrix of inner-loop,can be determined.Calculations of an example show thatthis method allows engineers to design efficiently certain non-square multivariable systems.
