FLEXIBLE INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE FOR PROCESS INDUSTRY

After addressing the significance of enterprise arc hitectures, this paper briefly outlines the four development phases of architectures, proposing the concept of architecture spectrum. To reflect the spatial aspect of architecture, we bring forth a methodology consisting of five views and nine process flows, and develop a flexible architecture characterized by a hybrid of flattened hierarchy and the dispersed structure. We finally discuss the concept of temporal structures of architectures and their applications.
