A General Evaluation Method for Quality of Resilience

In order to evaluate the performance of different resilience mechanisms,to provide theoretic foundation for choosing right resilience mechanism in networks,and to avoid making different evaluation results for the same resilience mechanism when the simulation environment changes or different simulation methods are used,a general evaluation method for QoR(quality of resilience) is provided.The parameters related to QoR are defined in this evaluation method firstly,and then the parameters related to QoR of protection mechanism and recovery mechanism.Finally,some typical resilience mechanisms using the provided general evaluation method for QoR are evaluated.As analysis,the provided general evaluation method for QoR is suitable for evaluating different resilience mechanisms.
