Feedback Synchronization for a New Piecewise Chaotic System

  • The synchronization control method is studied for a new-found piecewise chaotic system, named as MLS (modified Lorenz-Stenflo) system. Based on the improved feedback control method, the states of the two MLS systems are synchronized. Without manually adjusting the gain coefficients, the improved controllers can adaptively adjust the feedback gain according to the error values to accelerate the synchronization. Then the backstepping method is applied to designing the synchronization controller, and the stability of error systems is derived theoretically. Simulation result shows the correctness and feasibility of the synchronization controllers, and also the advantage of the improved algorithm for accelerating synchronization.
