Abstract
In this paper, the author has designed the adaptive control system for fin stabilizer based on the BP neural network, according to nonlinear rolling model of ship. The controller consists of two neural networks, it can automatically adjust PID parameters and forecast the roll posture of ship. Digital simulation results have showed that the fin stabilizer system has remarkable control effect on the nonlinear roll motion.
