USING GENETIC ALGORITHM TO OPTIMIZE LOCATIONOF TRAFFIC COUNTING POINTS

  • On the analysis of the existing methods of the traffic counting points location problem, this paper proposes a genetic algorithm for this problem. It is the first work to apply genetic algorithm to optimal location of traffic counting points. This algorithm can find the optimal or nearly optimal solution to the traffic counting location problem effectively, which is shown by the experiments provided by this paper.
