Intelligent Fault Diagnosis for Complex System

The key approaches of intelligent diagnosis technology are summarized in this paper,including knowledge-based reasoning,artificial neural networks,fuzzy logic,machine learning,pattern recognition and integrated approaches.A new classification method is presented.According to the characteristics of complex systems and process,essential problems with which intelligent fault diagnosis is confronted are presented,and the future research directions and solutions are discussed.
