Abstract
The paper analyzed the robustness of PID control systems widely used in process control,gave a necessary condition for robust stability and pointed out the limitation of PID regulators.The paper proposed a method for choosing PID parameters throuth constrained optimization,which gives consideration to both performance and robustness.A function of model uncertainty is used to design a robust control system Which is stable within the prescribed region of variations of transfer function.
