Analysis and Modeling of Systems Biology

To understand the life system on systematical level, a new framework, systems biology, must be established, whose aims are to describe and to understand life system systematically. In the viewpoint of system and control science, this paper tries to review the ideas and methods of analysis and modeling in systems biology, and to discuss its recent progress and its foreground direction.
