Abstract

The study of the discrete event dynamical system was active in 80’s.Now it is applied largely in the flexible manufacturing system and computers integrated manufacturing system,etc.We study in this paper the modeling of multipurpose batch plants in the chemical process using minmax algebra.The procedure of optimization is also discussed.
