Abstract
In this paper,the self-tuning robust controller (H. K. Song et al,1986) is improved by using thenormalized parameter estimation approach and a new adaptive algorithm is proposed.Under a simplercondition,we prove that the new adaptive controller is globally stable and parameter convergent in thepresence of modelling residue.
